He married Sarah Wilkerson Edwards January 19,1881. Sarah was born October 17, 1861 in Franklin Co., NC. Sarah was the daughter of Madison Daniel Edwards and Aribelle Jane Smith. Sarah died September 26,1924 in Sandy Creek, Vance Co., NC.

Thomas W Lassiter and Sarah Wilkerson Edwards had the following children:

 1715 ii. Maude Bell Lassiter was born February 12,1885.

 1716 iii. Hugh Madison Lassiter was born November 20,1887.

 1718 v. Eugene T Lassiter was born in Franklin Co., NC April 18,1893. Eugene died September 29,1918 in Vance Co., NC.
