OBIT: LEVIE, JAMES ELMER 82, a retired engineer of the Holston Defense Department of Eastman Company, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2011 in his home of Kingsport, TN. He was the son of the late Elmer V. Levie and Lola Waldrop Levie of Birmingham, AL. He graduated form the University of Alabama with a degree in engineering and got his Master's degree from the University of Tennessee. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, August 25, 2011 at Elmwood Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga St, Kingsport, TN James never married.
