Ivey Morris was a lay preacher (Methodist) in Troup, Harris and Muscoge counties of Ga. and Russell, Clay and Chambers Counties of AL. He founded the Methodist Church in Langdale, AL in 1863. Langdale is now a part of Valley, AL
