He married Cora Lavinia Hill abt 1897. Cora was born May 8, 1876 in Atalla, Etowah Co., AL. Cora was the daughter of Sion Hill and Carrie Powell. Cora died June 15, 1966 in Chambers Co., AL.
Joseph Wesley Morris and Cora Lavinia Hill had the following children:
2889 i. Laura Roberta9 Morris was born May 14, 1898.
2890 ii. Rosa Morris was born September 2, 1900.
2891 iii. Robert E. Morris was born September 14, 1904.
2892 iv. Mary Frances Virginia Morris was born in Chambers Co., AL 1914. Mary died 2001. She married Thomas Thompson. Thomas was born in Schaller, Sac Co., IA. Thomas died 1990 in Baskenville, Meclenberg Co., VA.
