She married twice. She married Ernest Homer Hamby March 16, 1905 in Buchanan, Haralson Co., GA. Elcer and Homer were married at the Baptist church by Rev. J. E. Rorle, pastor of the Methodist church.

Ernest was born in Marietta, Cobb Co., GA. She married Joshua Crittenden (Josh) Cody July 1923. Joshua was born 1892. Joshua died June 18, 1961 in Haralson Co., GA. Josh came to Temple, GA in 1940. He was a line coach in football, athletic director Mercer Uniiversity, Macon, GA in 1920. Head basketball and baseball coach Vanderbilt University in 1923, and head football and basketball coach at Clemson in 1927.
