He married Lula Blanche Wills August 2, 1910 in Paris, Henry Co., TN. Lula was born October 22, 1889 in Linton, IN. Lula was the daughter of Slyvester Matthew Willis and Martha Frances Brinson. Lula died November 25, 1962 in Buchanan, Haralson Co., GA. Lula is buried in the local cemetery in Buchanan, GA Virdon was a farmer and tas collector. He attented Emory Medical College, but did not finish.
