Annie died June 3, 1979 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. Annie is buried in the local Cemetery in Buchanan, GA The GA 1930 census shows that Dewey was a clerk in the Post Office at this time. His wife was shown as Post Mistress. During WW II, in 1943, Alva had 4 sons in service.
