Judith died February 21, 2009 in Yadkinville, Yadkin Co., NC. OBIT: Mrs. Judith Elaine Allgood Reavis, 71, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at her home. She was born October 25, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late Clarence and Myrtle Lynch Allgood. Surviving are her husband, Dr. James Lamar Reavis; children, Derek (Stephanie) Reavis, Heather (Barry) Holbrook, Carla (Michael) Lee; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Bob Gray Lynch. Her Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Deep Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Michael Faircloth. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2009 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family would like to thank Paula Chavers, Mountain Valley Hospice, Kathy Reece, and Margie Willard for all of the love and care shown to Elaine during her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 208 Jackson Street, Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service is serving the Reavis family.
She married James Lamar Reavis August 20,1971 in Yadkin Co., NC. James was born August 22, 1935. James was the son of James Willlias Reavis and Mary Lacie Hoots. James died January 23, 2014 in Yadkinville, Yadkin Co., NC.
Judith Elaine Allgood and James Lamar Reavis had the following children:
