He married Edith Estelle Jarrett June 11,1928. Edith was born March 19, 1910 in WV. Edith was the daughter of Emmitt M Jarrett and Ava A Rogers. Edith died December 26, 1992 in Girard, TX.

Arvel Dennis Raper and Edith Estelle Jarrett had the following children:
