Imogene died January 23, 2003 in Pittsfield, Pike Co., IL. OBIT:: Imogene R. Laux, 88, of Pearl, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield. She was born Aug. 28, 1914 in Nebo to the late William and Bessie Rhodes McCann. She married Hubert Laux Nov. 26, 1933. He preceded her in death in October 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pearl Church of Christ. Surviving are two sons, three brothers, two sisters, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard McCann. Funeral services Jan. 28 at Hanks-Gubser Funeral Home in Pearl were conducted by Bro. Wilson Ramsey. Burial was in Hess Cemetery in Pearl.
She married Hubert Lee Laux November 26,1933. Hubert was born December 14, 1905 in Madison Co., IL. Hubert was the son of James Laux and Addie Mae Gollier. Hubert died October 5, 1981 in Pearl, Pike Co., IL.
Imogene Rosalee McCann and Hubert Lee Laux had the following children:
