John died May 25, 2008 in Royal, Garland Co., AR.
He married Lula Belle Williams. Lula was born October 13, 1937 in Beech Grove, AR. Lula died August 18, 2008 in Crystal Springs, AR. OBIT: Beloved wife and mother, Lula Belle (Williams) Medsker, of Crystal Springs, Ark., passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2008. Belle was born Oct. 13, 1937, at Beech Grove, Ark., and was a retired Registered Nurse with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Arkansas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was also a member of United Methodist Church Women’s Circle.
She is survived by two daughters, Belinda Compton and her husband, Jim of Fayetteville; and Melinda Trigg of Hot Springs; two sons, Joe Medsker of Little Rock and Jack Medsker and his wife, Connie of Redfield; two sisters, Yuba Williams and Ethelene Ryan, both of Paragould; eight grandsons, Zachary, John, and Jacob Compton, Ashton and Beau Medsker, Joshua and Harrison Trigg, and Hunter Medsker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Medsker; her parents, Jess and Mattie (Robinson) Williams; three brothers, Vernon Williams, Ezra Williams, and Bill Williams; two sisters, Lola Greenway and Maxine McDaniel.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and son-in-law.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, at the Christian Life Center of First United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services beginning at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Benfer officiating.
