Hazel died September 26, 2002 in Olney, Richland Co., IL. Obit: Hazel Bernice Clark, 61,, of Olney, died at 6 a. m. Thursday, September 26, 2002, at her residence following a lengthy illness. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p. m. sunday at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services were at 10 a. m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial was in Clay City Cemetery. Mrs. Clark was born on December 19, 1940, in Noble, the daughter of Clayson and Nella (Luke) Mcdowell. She was self-employed and enjoyed caring for the olderly. She was a member of Olney VFW Auxilliary and Olney Eagles Auxiliary. Mrs. Clark is survived by three sons, David Bell, Rick Bell and Gregory Bell, all of Morris; a daughter, Rhonda Toy, of Olney; two brothers, Ronald McDowell,l of Mt. Carmel, and Glenn McDowell, of St. Joseph, Mo; six sisters, Dorothy Bricker, of Flora, Barbara House and Nella Dilley, of Olney, Betty Lemons, of Sailor Springs, and Kay Lomas and Leona Mae DiSandro, both of olney, several nieces and nephews; and 13 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Joshua Bell, one brother, Adrian McDowell and one sister Jo Ann McDowell. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
She married twice. She married Ronald Wayne Bell Novembe 8, 1957 in Stanford Township, Clay Co., IL. Ronald was born December 16, 1936 in Lawrenceville, Lawrence Co., IL. Ronald died May 26, 1991 in Morris, Grundy Co., IL. Ronald was buried in the Sample Cemetery, Morris, IL
She married John Bert Clark May 8, 1982 in Streator, La Salle Co., IL. John was born April 11, 1934 in Charlotte, Eaton Co., MI. John was the son of Ebra Bruce and Ila May. John died July 6, 2006 in Charlotte, Eaton Co., MI.
Hazel Bernice McDowell and Ronald Wayne Bell had the following children:
