Paul died June 26, 1999 in Martinsville, Morgan Co., IN. OBIT: Paul Aaron Allgood died Saturday morning, June 26, 1999, at the Morgan County Memoial Hosital In Martinsville, A resident of that city, he was 80. Mr Allgood was born August 24, 1918, in Indianapolia to Arthur and Minnie Angle Allgood. Me and Helen D. Parmerlee were married November 20, 1937 in Brown Co. She survies. His wife is a native of Brown County. Mr. Allgood had worked as a truck driver for Midwesst Froszen Food retiring in 1980. He was a member of Kil-O-Watt Hoppers Square Dancing, american Legion and the Teamsters Union.. Mr Allgood served with the United States Army Air Corps at Spokane, Wshington during Work War II. Other surviors inlcude two sons, Paul Aaron Allgood II of Mesa, Arizona and Rck Allgood of Greenwood, seven daughters, Bobbi Bennett of Martinsville, Florence Keever, Shirley Downton and Peggy Henshaw, off of Indianoplia, and Marjorie Russell, Wanda Woods and Barbara Wood of Greenwood, a brother Eugene Allgood of Greenfield, 30 grandchildren and several grand-grandchildren. He was preceded in deathh by a son, Eugene Allgood, a brother, Norman Allgood, and three grandchildren children. A service as conducted Tuesday afternnon, June 29, at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville. Burieal was in Johnson county's Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

He married Helen Dorothy Parmerlee November 20, 1937 in Brown Co., IN. Helen was born September 29, 1920 in Brown Co., IN. Helen was the daughter of Edgar Parmerlee and Sarah Ferguson. Helen died March 4, 2012 in Martinsville, Morgan Co., IN. OBIT: Helen Dorothy (Parmerlee) Allgood, 91, Martinsville, passed away surrounded by her loving family at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at The Waters of Martinsville.

She was born on Wednesday, September 29, 1920 in Brown County, Indiana, to the late Edgar and Sarah (Ferguson) Parmerlee.

On November 20, 1937 she married Paul Aaron Allgood and he passed away on June 26, 1999.

Helen was a homemaker and member of the Kilowats Square Dancing. She loved her flower gardens and making crafts.

Survivors are her sons, Paul Allgood, II of Phoenix, Arizona, and Rick Allgood and wife Darlene of Indianapolis; daughters, Barbara Wood and husband Theodore of Greenwood, Peggy Hanshew and husband Niles of Indianapolis, Shirley Downton of Indianapolis, Marjorie Russell and husband Paul of Greenwood, Florence Keever and husband Donn of Indianapolis and Bobbi Bennett and husband Steve of Martinsville; 35 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Eugene Allgood; daughter, Wanda Woods, brothers, Herbert and Marion Parmerlee; sisters, Flossie Wise Burkhart, Florence Chandler and Hazel Gee.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Costin Funeral Chapel and on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service.

Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.

Paul Aaron Allgood and Helen Dorothy Parmerlee had the following children:
