OBIT: Services for Elaine Case Smith of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 19, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 19, from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Smith, 74, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Case. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Baker, La. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Ralph Smith Sr. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Ralph Smith Jr. and Diane Smith; brother, Hoyt Case, all of Brookhaven; sisters, Murlyn Smith of Brookhaven and Geraline Fulton of Prairieville, La.; grandchildren, Shannon Smith, Misty Martinez and Lori Grace; and two great-grandchildren. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She married Charles Ralph Smith. Charles was born September 28,1913. Charles died June 1987 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS.
