Emmitt died November 7, 1981 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Roy was buried in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.

He married Lexie Mae Allgood May 5, 1934. Lexie was born January 18, 1920 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Lexie was the daughter of Zollie Daniel Allgood and Clara Gladys Laird. Lexie died May 6, 2010 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS. OBIT: Services for Lexie Walker, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez drive, with burial in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Walker died May 6, 2010, at Brook Manor Nursing Home.
