She married Thomas M Thompson Seeptember 22, 1897 in Franklin Co., MS. Thomas was born August 16,1874 in MS. Thomas was the son of Jeff Thompson. Thomas died September 10,1943 in Vicksburg, Warren Co, MS.

Letha Smith and Thomas M Thompson had the following children:

 11785 ii. Essie Mae Thompson was born in Franklin Co., MS December 14,1909. Essie died February 9, 1973 in Vicksburg, Warren Co. MS.
