Bessie was born September 9,1898 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS. Bessie was the daughter of Wyatt Smith and Sarah Jane Chandler. Bessie died Feburay 13, 1937 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Bessie and Noah were buried in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.
