Delton Case and Hilda Faye Myers had the following children:
41554 i. Lydia Diane12 Case was born October 15, 1963. Lydia died March 24, 2011 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS. OBIT: Funeral services for Lydia Dianne Case, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Franklin County, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.
Ms. Case, 48, died March 24, 2011, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 15, 1962 to Delton Case and Hilda Myers McManus.
She was a graduate of Mississippi State University. She was a parasitologist and well-known microbiologist. She attended several other universities and held several professional degrees. An avid sports fan, she played softball, loved watching basketball and going to NASCAR races. She loved music and played several musical instruments. She was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Troy and Lottie Myers of Meadville; and grandmother Nettie Case, of Brookhaven.
Survivors are her parents; her niece, Danae' Beach; her nephew, Drue Beach; her sister, Lajaun Case; a special friend, Tanya Verucchi; her aunts, Nancy Burris, Willie Templet, Bernice Walker and Donis Tullos; and her uncle, Emerson Case; and many cousins and friends. o
