Myrtis died November 14, 2000 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Services for Myrtis Fauver of Brookhaven are 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home. Mrs. Fauver, 94, died Nov. 14, 2000, at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on June 2, 1906, to Clifton Vaughn and Ruth Buckels Vaughn. She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Willard Fauver; and her sons, Billy Ray Fauver and Clifton Fauver. Survivors are her sons, Caby Fauver of Brookhaven, Jimmy Fauver of Niceville, Fla., and John W. Fauver of Mobile; her daughters, Jean Gross of Natchez and Bobbye White of Brookhaven; and 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren
She married Willard Fauver August 12, 1928. Willard was born November 9, 1908 in Lincoln Co., MS. Willard was the son of William Thomas Fauver and Jahazia "Mattie" Scarborough. Willard died November 8, 1962 in Lincoln Co., MS. Willard was buried in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS
