Rachel died December 10, 2011 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Memorial services for Rachel C. Britt, of Brookhaven, are 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.
Visitation is Monday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Britt, 80, died Dec. 10, 2011, at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Mississippi on April 2, 1931, to John Clarence and Jennie Belle Varnado Coleman.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers, Lawrence Felix Coleman and James Paul Coleman.
Survivors are her daughters, Brenda B. Moak and husband, Roger, Cindy D. Davis and husband, Bill, Adrian Turnage and husband, Darrell, and Judy Parker and husband, Bill; brother, John D. Coleman; seven grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who she held near and dear to her heart.
