OBIT: Services for Steven Neal Nevels of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Sunday, May 16, at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday from 5-9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Nevels, 49, died May 13, 2004, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Paul Nevels and Ruby "Petie" Price Nevels.
Survivors are his wife, Sarah Ida Swilley; his daughters, Lorrin Kelly Nevels of Florida, and Stevie Lavell Nevels of Brookhaven; his stepdaughter, Johanna Russell of Brookhaven; his sisters, Paulette Fioretti of Jackson, and Veda "Jan" Melancon of Brookhaven; and his brothers, Edmond S. Nevels, Paul Rex Nevels and Greg A. Nevels, all of Brookhaven.
He married twice.
Steven Neal Nevels and Sarah Ida Swilley had the following child:
