Delton died May 15, 2009 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Services for Delton Willis Smith, of Brookhaven, were 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at Damascus Baptist Church in Franklin County with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Smith, 82, died May 15, 2009, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 30, 1926, to Hollis Smith and Mazie Hall Smith.
He was a retired truck driver for Matlock Trucking. He was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and served in the Army in World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his son, Darrell Smith.
Survivors are his wife, Iva Lois Smith; his sons, Gary L. Smith and wife, Winona, of Baton Rouge, La., and Randy C. Smith, of Brookhaven; his daughter, Deborah Fugler and husband, Ken, of Brookhaven; his brother, Kelcy Smith and wife, Faye, of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Staci Ard, Justin Smith, David Smith and Daniel Smith; and his great-grandchild, Evan Ard.
He married Iva Lois Wilson 1963. Iva was born June 4, 1928. Iva was the daughter of Cameron Wooten and Ruby (___). Iva died May 4, 2014 in Liberty, MS. OBIT: Memorial services for Mrs. Iva Lois Smith is 12:00 pm, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Damascus Baptist Church in Franklin County. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Iva Lois Smith, 85, passed away on May 4, 2014 at the Liberty Community Living Center, Liberty Mississippi. She was born on June 4, 1928 to Cameron and Ruby Wooten, and was married to the late Delton W. Smith for almost 61 years.Iva was an active member of Damascus Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Darrell Willis Smith; and daughter, Debra Smith Fugler. She is survived by her sons, Gary Lynn Smith and wife Winona, of Baton Rouge and Randy Carroll Smith, of Brookhaven, MS; sister, Lavelle Scott, of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Justin Smith, Staci Ard, David Smith, Daniel Smith; and 2 great grandchildren, Evan Ard and Mazie Smith.

OBIT Services for Deborah Smith Fugler, of Brookhaven, are 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, at Damascus Baptist Church in Franklin County, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Fugler, 54, died April 6, 2010, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was born on Sept. 12, 1955, to Delton Willis Smith and Iva Lois Wooten. She was a native of Baton Rouge, La.
She was a graduate of Istrouma High School. She was a homemaker, and a member of Damascus Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her father, and her brother, Darrell Willis Smith.
Survivors are her mother; her husband, Kenneth Fugler; her brothers, Gary L. Smith and wife Winona, of Baton Rouge, and Randy C. Smith, of Franklin County; and her sister-in-law, Dianne Smiley and husband, George.
