Albert died August 28, 2010 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Funeral services for Albert A. Smith, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 30, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park. Visitation is Sunday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Smith, 63, died Aug. 28, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Mississippi on Aug. 10, 1947, to Maurice Smith and Agnes Case Smith. He was self-employed. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Preceding him in death were his parents, Maurice and Agnes Smith; and his father-in-law, Hugh Tarver. Survivors are his wife, Jane Tarver Smith; his sons, Briley Smith and wife, Lisa, and Taylor A. Smith; his daughter, Ginger Smith Walker and husband, Justin; his mother-in-law, Fay Tarver; his sisters, Cheryl Barrett and husband, Pat, Karen Hester and husband, Jimmy, and Rhonda Twitty and husband, Russ; and his grandchildren, Lesley Walker, Payne Walker and Aubree Smith.

Albert Anderson Smith and Jane Tarver had the following children:
