He was preceded in death by his son, Noah Dale Smith.

He is survived by his wife Julie; daughter,

Penny Kelley and husband, Stephen;

2 grandchildren, Olivia & Will.

He is also survived by his brother, Jimmy and wife, Geraldine.

He married Julie (___).

Billy Dale Smith and Julie (___) had the following children:

He was a professional muralist, sign-writer, and scenic artist with Local IATSE 478 (New Orleans).

He is survived by his parents, Billy Dale and Julie; sister, Penny (Stephen); niece and nephew, Olivia and Will; grandmother, Mary Lou; aunt and uncle, Jimmy and Geraldine, and cousin, Emily.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Ruby; and grandparents, Lessie and Robert, and Trenton "Bill."

The family requests no flowers or plants, but rather donations made to Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital in Noah's name to benefit their Art Therapy program
