Cathy died November 4, 2006 in Jackson, Hinds Co, MS. OBIT: Services for Cathy Smith Pace, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven. Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Pace, 54, died Nov. 4, 2006, at the University Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on Aug. 8, 1952, to Jewell Smith and Virginia Johnson Smith. She was a homemaker. Preceding her in death was her father. Survivors are her mother, Virginia Johnson Smith, of Brookhaven; her husband, Joel Pace, of Brookhaven; her sons, Tracy Pace and wife Arlia, of Brookhaven, and Joey Pace, of Denver, Colo.; her brothers, Emmit Johnson and Dennis Banks, both of Brookhaven; her sister, Wanda Johnson, of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Cathy Jo Smith and Joel Parkman Pace had the following children:
