Daniel died January 22, 2005 in Lebanon, Laclede Co., MO. OBIT: Daniel Sampson Weaver, son of James Claude and Stella A. Buttram Weaver, was born October 28, 1932, near Grovespring, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, January 22, 2005, in Christian Healthcare South, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, two months, and twenty-four days. On August 27, 1954, he was united in marriage to Tommy Dean Dinwiddie, and to this union one daughter was born. His parents, a brother, and a sister preceded him in death. Daniel is survived by his wife, Tommy, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Dian Weaver Hawkinson, and her husband, Max Ray, age67, , of Macks Creek, Missouri; two grandchildren, Vicki Vaughn, age 35, and Shanon Vaughn, and his wife, Jessica, age28, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Mattie Vaughn; three brothers, Ernest Weaver, and his wife, Mary, of Grovespring, Missouri, Clyde Weaver, and his wife, Roberta, of Osceola, Missouri, and Verlin Weaver, and his wife, Brenda, of Grovespring, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born and raised in the Grovespring community, and lived most of his life in that area. Throughout the years he lived on the family farm at different times. Early in his life he had been employed by Independent Stave Company and by various boat manufacturing plants. In his spare time he liked being outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Daniel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, january 25, 2005, in the Little Vine Church. Burial will be in Little Vine Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
