Virginia died October 6, 2009 in Hamptonville, Yadkin Co., NC. OBIT: Dale Allgood Weaver, of Hamptonville, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Surry County on April 2, 1961; daughter of the late Jim Sharp and Roxie Maybelle Allgood of Hamptonville.
Dale worked at Hoots Hospital for many years in Yadkinville.
A celebration of life service was conducted Saturday, Oct. 10, at Mackie-Sinclair Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Burial followed in the Yadkinville Cemetery.
The family received friends Friday, Oct. 9, at Mackie-Sinclair Funeral Service and other times at the home.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and is survived by her husband, Ricky Lee Weaver of the home; a son, Richard (Ricky) Kenneth Worth Weaver of the U.S. Army, Quarter Master Division, Tango Company, Fort Lee, Va.; four daughters, Carrie Dale Broom (Brian) of Kings Mountain, Misty Lynn Gill (Jimmy) and, Jessica May Bolling (Bryan), all of Winston-Salem, and Bobbie Jean Couch (Michael) of Yadkinville; six brothers, Isaac (Buzz) Allgood (Sue), Vernon Allgood, Shannon Allgood (Tonya), Randy Allgood (Margret), Dean Allgood (Darlene), and Terry Allgood (Melissa); two sisters, Bonnie Williams (Steve) and Darlene Jenkins (Jackie); four grandchildren, Clayton and Madison Bolling, and William Church and Ethan Broom.
She also leaves her mother, Roxie Maybelle Allgood; her mother-in-law, Carol Jane Brown of Pennsylvania; and father in law, Kenneth Howard (Pop) Weaver of the home.
Dale was preceded in death by her father, Jim Sharp and maternal grandmother, Myrtle Childress.
She married twice.
