Jerry Emerson¹¹ Robinson (James Emerson¹⁰, Anna⁹ Longan, Martha Ellen⁸ Allgood, Lewis W.⁷, Presley⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Joplin, Barry Co., MO March 28, 1937. Jerry died December 20, 2002 in a, Shawnee Co., KS. OBIT: Jerry Emerson Robinson, 65, Topeka, was found dead at his home on Dec. 20, 2002.

He was born March 28, 1937, in Joplin, Mo., to James Emerson and Genevieve Olive Robinson. He was raised in Joplin, Mo., and and attended Wichita State University, where he was a member of the football team. He moved to Topeka eight years ago.

Mr. Robinson worked in advertising sales for many years and was a former employee of the Civic Development Group in Topeka.

Survivors include three daughters, Andrea R. Hageman, Wichita, Erina Garner, Springfield, Mo., and Kendra Nicole Robinson, St. Louis; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Robinson was cremated. Inurnment at Ozark Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, Mo., will be private.

He married Sue Ellen (___). Sue was born 1945.
