Survivors are his wife, Dorothy; sons, Michael Carson, Steve Carson; daughters,Mrs. Jane Hix of Olin, Mrs. Vickie Love; sisters, Mrs. Annie Murdock ofGreensboro, Mrs. Ruth Moore, Mrs. Juanita Wilhelm.

He married Dorothy Ruth Bass 1945.
