Inez died May 9, 2015 in Urbana, Champaign Co., IL. OBIT: Inez Kimberlin, 88, of Danville, formerly of Vandalia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Per her wishes, her remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday at Pape Family Funeral Home in Danville. Her remains will later be interred with her husband at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Brownstown. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church or Vermilion County Museum. She married Donald Kimberlin on Dec. 24, 1946, in Vandalia; he preceded her in death in 1999.She worked for many years as a secretary at a bank, owned and worked on the farm with her husband Donald and later owned a Pet Supply Shop in Vandalia. Inez and Don also traveled extensively throughout the U.S. She later moved to Danville to be near her family in 2001.Survivors include her daughter, Deronda Kimberlin; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Alfred and Sandy Kimberlin, Jimmy Kimberlin, Sharon Prescott, Sandy Lou Kimberlin, Vickie Watson, Jan Garland, Pat Smith, Lana Kimberlin, Mary Dearth, Barry and Melody Miller, and Kevin, Carol and Nichole Miller; and a brother-in-law, Robert Miller. She married Donald Dow Kimberlin December 24, 1946 in Vandalia, Fayette Co., IL. Donald was born May 8, 1922 in IL. Donald was the son of Harvey Kimberlin and Pearl Odell. Donald died November 1, 1999 in Crowley, Tarrant Co., TX.
