Larry died June 20, 2013 in McLeansboro, Hamilton Co., IL.
He married Lucy Naomi Johnson June 16, 1957 in Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL. Lucy was born September 26, 1936 in Paragould, Greene Co, AR. Lucy was the daughter of William Johnson and Kate Jameson. Lucy died March 19, 2015 in Mount Vernon, Jefferson Co., IL. OBIT: Naomi Cushman 78 of Springerton, passed away Thursday morning March 19, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was born September 26, 1936 in Paragould, AR, the daughter of William and Kate (Jameson) Johnson. She married Larry Lee Cushman on June 16, 1957 in Fairfield and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2013.
Naomi was an avid writer, she wrote the Springerton News for several local newspapers. She loved sewing, reading and facebooking.
She is survived by her son, Bill (Kim) Cushman of Springerton, daughters, Teria (Ken) Griesemer of Olney and Rhonda (Carey) Rose of McLeansboro; eight grandchildren, Zachary, Megan and Dusty Cushman, Josh (Megan) Griesemer, and Logan, Dustin, Nicholas and Tanner Rose; three great-grandchildren, Gavin Griesemer, Paizley Rose and Eastyn Phelps. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Johnson and one sister, Pauline Johnson and her son-in-law, Curtis Rose.
Visitation and Funeral services are 10am to 1 p.m. (funeral) on Saturday March 21, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. Burial in Springerton Cemetery.
Larry Lee Cushman and Lucy Naomi Johnson had the following children:
