Mrs. Cunningham was born in St. Elmo on Feb. 17, 1911, the daughter of Charles W. and Zora Dance Sapp. She retired as cafeteria manager and cook from the Niantic School District. She was a member of Harristown Christian Church and was active with Christian Women's Fellowship. She married Emmertt Cunningham April 27, 1941. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1994.

Cunningham and Nellie Mae Barbee. Emmett died January 1, 1994 in Decatur, Macon Co., IL.
