She was born July 5, 1921 in Xenia, IL, the daughter of Homer and Mary Luttrell. She married Otis Derry in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1981. She later married Otho "Jack" Goldman in 1987 and he preceded her in death in 1992.
She worked at Millikin University for 25 years and was a member of Decatur Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and United Mthodist Women.
Survivors include a son, Steven Derry; a daughter, Pamela Sue Young; two sisters, Laverne Wolfe and Mildred Baity; five grandsons; and one great-grandson.
Preceding her in death were her parents, both husbands, and a brother and four sisters.
She married twice. She married Otis Derry 1945. Otis was born November 11,1916. Otis died July 8, 1981 in Decatur, Macon Co., IL. She married Otho (Jck) M. Goldman 1987. Otho was born September 18;, 1926. Otho was the son of Otho F. Goldman and Ella M. (___). Otho died 1992.
Helen Louisse Luttrell and Otis Derry had the following children:
