He was Born November 17, 1923, to Will and Evoyle Owen Bridgman. He Married Annie Boyce Clowers and they were Married 63 years before her death on April 25, 2009.
He served his Country during World War II in the U.S. Army Medical Evan, Pacific Campaign.
He Farmed and owned his own heavy equipment, which he used to do work for many local farmers and landowners until he retired.
His hobby was Trading and Restoring Old Tractors. Most people remember him as a Master Mechanic who could make anything run.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Baldwin-Nowell Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Tom Sheffield officiating. Burial will be in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his Son, Danny Bridgman and Wife, Diane; his Daughter, Anita Tutor and Husband, Tony; four Grandchildren, Dana Harrison and Husband, Tommy; Daniel Bridgman; Jonathan Tutor and Wife, Kim; and Beth Tutor; five Great Grandchildren, Alissa Harrison, Drew Bridgman, Jade Bridgman, J.T. Tutor and Ben Tutor; two Sisters, Ruby Moorman and Sara Sappington; two Sisters In Llaw, Ruth Bridgman and Billie Miller; a host of Special Nieces and Nephews; and a good Trading Buddy, Howard Higgins.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; his Wife, Annie Boyce Clowers Bridgman; three Sisters, Laurene Pennington, Grace Purdon and Ann Burton; five Brothers, Cecil Bridgman, Lenward Bridgman, David Bridgman, James Bridgman and Baby Bill Bridgman.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Tutor, Daniel Bridgman, Drew Bridgman, Tommy Harrison, Freddy Bridgman, Mike Burton and Buddy Clowers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be J.T. Tutor, Ben Tutor and Howard Higgins.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today; and from 1 p.m. to Service time Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Annie Boyce Clowers and Pontotoc Lamar Bridgman had the following children:
