Joseph was born May 15, 1885 in Rome, Tallapoosa Co., AL. Joseph was the son of Rufus D. Kerr and Cynthia Holloway. Joseph died January 10, 1947 in Wedowee. Randolph Co., AL. Ernest and Charles came to live with Mary and Joe in November 1915, since their father, Henry was moved to Hackleburg, Al in Northwest Alabama.
