Franklin was born February 29, 1888. Franklin was the son of Benjamin Franklin Nance and Rosa Elizabeth Hammons. Franklin died March 28. 1973 in Spencer Rowan Co., NC. Franklin was buried in the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, Faith, NC
