He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jim Ferguson; and three sisters, Louise Daggett, Dorothy Peterson and Ann Woods

He married twice. He married Novalene Richardson April 1, 1953 in Lawrence Co., AR. Novalene was born December 1, 1928 in Lawrence Co., AR. Novalene was the daughter of John H Richardson and Verna A. (___). Novalene died November 13, 1998.
