Beatrice died February 10, 2013 in Keene, Johnson Co., TX. OBIT: Beatrce Wallace, 88, of Keene, passed away Sunday, Feb.10, 2013, in Keene. Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Keene Memorial Cemetery Park with Pastor Harly Charles officiating. Beatrice was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Durant, Okla., to Dallas and Lena Allgood. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and was a caregiver and housewife. Beatrice was a wonderful, caring, and compassionate woman. Whenever you needed her she was always there. She gave 100% of herself to her family and friends. Beatrice was a bright light that shined in the darkness. She gave freely without ever asking for anything in return and will be missed by all that knew her. To know her was to love her. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Lena Allgood; brothers, R. L. Allgood and J. B. Allgood; and sister, Lauretta Ramsey. Survivors include her son, Rick Cooper and wife, Sherri; daughter, Lucinda Whitten; sisters, Anna Jo Clithero and Imo Jean Lothian; grandchildren, Brianna, Tyler and Alyssa, Richard Whitten and wife, Leslie, Greg and Sonja Whitten, and Priscilla Whitten-Carpenter and husband, Chris, Kevin, Daniel and Stefanie Whitten, and Anya and Christina Carpenter.
