Annie died October 13, 2006 in Jena, LaSalle Parrish, LA. OBIT: Annie Belle Doughty, 81, of Jena, died on Friday, October 13, 2006, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. Mrs. Doughty was born April 10, 1925, to the union of her parents, Buatt and Mary Clark. She was a homemaker and had resided at the LaSalle Nursing Home for the past two years. Services celebrating her life were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Albert Vickers officiating. Interment was followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc., of Jena. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert G. Doughty, and a daughter, Betty Garlington. Survivors include three sons, Rev. Larry Doughty of Jonesville, Billy Doughty of Rhinehart, and Bobby Doughty of Summerville; one brother, Lewis Clark of Pineville; two sisters, Sybil McFarland and Ruby Kitterlin, both of Jena; 11 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Stephen Doughty, Jason Doughty, Scott Theils, Cody McCain, Joe Lewis, and Marcus Boyd, with Harold Stevens serving as an honorary pallbearer.
She married Robert Granville Doughty. Robert was born June 24, 1919. Robert was the son of Robert Lee Doughty and Nellie Ann Jernigan. Robert died October 6, 1972.
Annie Belle Clark and Robert Granville Doughty had the following children:
