Mrs. Smith, 91, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was born May 5, 1923, in Picayune, MS to Norvel and Julia Douglass.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Clark V. Smith, her daughter Nancy Smith, brother Norvel Douglass, sister Margie Scott, and Grandson Chad Smith.
Survivors include her sons Ronnie Smith and wife Sara Jane of Brandon, and Doug Smith and wife Jane of Brandon; Grandchildren Priscilla Miller, Dorothy Killen, Jamie Smith, Adam Smith, and Russell Smith; Great-Grandchildren Eden Smith, Gavin Smith and Marlee Jane Miller; her sister Johnnie Evelyn Leggett of Brookhaven, brother James Douglass and wife Melba of Clinton.
