Reggie died March 6, 2007 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, LA. OBIT: Services for Reggie Kent Smith, of Bossier City, La., are 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive, with burial in Macedonia Baptist Baptist Church Cemetery, in Brookhaven. The Rev. Eric Harriman will officiate. Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Smith, 65, died March 6, 2007, at Willis-Knighton Pierremont Medical Center in Shreveport, La. He was born in Brookhaven on May 8, 1941, to Jeffie Oscar Smith and Bessie Case Smith. He was a retired customer service manager with Entergy of Louisiana for 38 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia, La. His father preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife, Charlotte Culver Smith, of Bossier City; his sons, Eric Whitney Smith and wife Mary Beth, and Leslie Grenn Smith, all of Bossier City; his mother, Bessie Case Smith, of Brookhaven; his sisters, Ann Smith Fugler and husband Robert, and Gay Smith and husband Donald, all of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Allison and Andrew Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers are Monty Adams Jr., Jeffie Smith, Mitchell Smith, Brian Fugler, Jeff Smith and Jeremy DeDeoux. Honorary pallbearers are Monty Adams, Linus Carroll, T.A. Roberts, John Grantham, Jack Humphreys, Max Shores, Lloyd Elkins, Jackie Barrett and Roy Ferrington.
