OBIT: Betty Francis Sandifer, 75, of Brookhaven, Ms, died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS. Burial will be in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Grover Bess; her brother, Thomas Darrell Bess; her sister, Barbara Ann Melder; and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Sandifer is survived by her husband, Marvin H Sandifer, Jr. of Brookhaven, MS; her mother,Mary Elizabeth Diehl Bess of Milam, Tx; her son Marvin T. Sandifer, Sr. and wife Terry of Ruth, Ms; her daughters, Athena Ann Kyzar of Virigina Beach, VA, Belinda Kay Sandifer of Brookhaven, Ms, and Donalda Locklear of Cartersville, GA; her sisters, Caroline Sue Allen, Brookland, Tx; her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
