Carol Annette¹¹ Sandifer (Marvin Harry¹⁰, William Nightengale⁹, Amanda (Mandy) Jsnr⁸ Smith, Emily⁷ Allgood, Wyatt⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Lincoln Co., MS April 16, 1940. Carol died February 28, 2009 in Groves, Jefferson Co., TX. OBIT: A graveside service for Carol Rider, of Groves, Texas, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial in the church cemetery. A funeral service will be held in Groves on Tuesday. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Rider, 68, died Feb. 28, 2009, at her residence in Groves. She was born on April 16, 1940, to Marvin Harry Sandifer Sr. and Mary Inez Sandifer.

She was retired from the FINA Refinery in Groves.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Tommy Sandifer; and a sister, Shirley King.

Survivors are her daughters, Donna Cannon, of Shelbyville, Texas, Connie Diane Laverne and Patricia Doucett, both of Groves; her brothers, Marvin Harry Sandifer Jr., of Brookhaven, and Richard Neal Sandifer, of Spring, Texas; her 16 grandchildren; and her 19 great-grandchildren.

Carol Annette Sandifer and Joseph Lee Rider had the following children:
