Rudolph J.¹² Smith JR (Rudolph J.¹¹, Floyd Percy¹⁰, Nicholas (Nick) Napolean⁹, Amanda Melvina (Vine)⁸, Priscilla⁷ Allgood, Wyatt⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born October 6, 1932. Rudolph died March 29, 2000 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Rudolph was buried in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.

He married Tommy Lou Swilley. Tommy was born October 18, 1936. Tommy was the daughter of Clovis Swilley and Francis Dearman. Tommy died December 8, 2008 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Graveside services for Tommy Lou Smith Leggett, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday from 10 until 10:30 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Mrs. Leggett, 72, died Dec. 8, 2008, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 18, 1936, to Clovis Swilley and Francis Dearman Swilley Griffin.

She was in management. She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, Rudolph "R.J." Smith Jr. and Rayford Leggett; and a brother, Dwen Swilley.

Survivors are her sons, Rudy Smith and wife, Amy, of Brookhaven; and Joel Smith, of Shreveport, La.; her brothers, Howard Griffin, of Brookhaven, Michael Griffin and Richard Griffin, both of Gulfport; her sisters, Karen Herrin, of Wiggins, and Peggy Johnson, of Tacoma, Wash.; her seven grandchildren, Michele Camarata, Catherine Carlisle, Shannon and Jody Sapluadbo, Jeremy and Dawn Robbins, R.J. and Sharon Smith, Toby and Jackie Smith and Steven Smith; and her eight great-grandchildren.

Rudolph J. Smith JR and Tommy Lou Swilley had the following children:

 54354 ii. Joel Steven Smith was born December 4, 1961.
