Joel died Ju;ne 15, 2010 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: A memorial service for Joel Steven Smith, of Brookhaven, is 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Community Funeral Service Chapel.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Smith, 48, died June 15, 2010, at his residence. He was born on Dec. 4, 1961, in Brookhaven, to Rudolph "R.J." Smith Jr. and Tommy Swilley Smith.

Mr. Smith was a graduate of Barbe High School in Lake Charles, La. He was an oil well tool inspector. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his sons, Richard Joel "R.J." Smith and his wife, Sharon, of Lake Charles, and Steven Smith; his daughter, Jodie Renee Sepulvado, of Lake Charles; his brother, Rudy Smith and his wife, Amy, of Brookhaven; and his three grandchildren, Gage Justin Smith, Cade Patrick Sepulvado and Layden Paul Sepuldavado.

Joel Steven Smith had the following children:
