She was born Dec. 23, 1923, in Litchfield, the daughter of Benjamin and Belvia Parrott Kruse. She married Henry Edward "Hank" Maynard. A daughter, Cindy Kay Kessinger, preceded her in death. Mrs. Maynard worked at Hough's Office Supply and Coffman Drug Store, both in Litchfield. Survivors: husband, Henry Edward "Hank", a daughter, Christine (husband, Dick) Bond of Springfield; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; a sister, Dolores Kruse of Litchfield; and several nieces and nephews. Private services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Plummer Funeral Home, Litchfield, the Rev. Ted Schelich officiating. Burial: Elmwood Cemetery, Litchfield.
