Mary died October 11, 2003 in Terrebonne Parish, LA. OBIT: Services for Lucille Smith Parker of Chauvin, La. were 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 13, at Harrigill Funeral Home with burial in Hillcrest Church of Christ Cemetery in Wesson. Mrs. Parker, 90, died Oct. 11, 2003, at Terrebonne General Hospital in Louisiana. She was born in Lincoln County on July 17, 1913, to Robert Fulton Smith and Dell Storm Smith. She was a lifetime member of Church of Christ. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 42 years, Leon George Parker Sr.; two sisters, Florine Breazeale and Allie McGee; and her brothers, Jim Stewart, Hulon Smith, Cammie Smith and Paul B. Smith. Survivors are her sons and daughter-in-law, Leon G. "Dickie" Parker Jr. of New Orleans, La., and William L. and Judy Parker of Chauvin, La.; her sisters, Jean Smith of Wesson, and Robbie Dell Smith of Brookhaven; and one grandson, Christopher John Parker of New Orleans, La.

She married Leon George Parker 1948. Leon was born October 18, 1920. Leon died July 10, 1990.

Mary Lucille Smith and Leon George Parker had the following children:
