He married Iva Bell Smith. Iva was born September 30, 1911 in MS. Iva was the daughter of Thomas Elzeberry (Nong) Smith and Josie Ella Griffin. Iva died February 5, 2006 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Services for Iva Bell Smith, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. today, Feb. 7 at New Salem Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, 94, died Feb. 5, 2006, at her residence. She was born on Sept. 30, 1911, to T.E. "Nong" Smith and Josie Griffin Smith. She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Salem Church Christ. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Hulon Smith; her daughter, Beth Wray; her great-granddaughter, Emily Ann Hodges; four brothers and three sisters. Survivors are her sons, Kirby Smith, of Jackson, and Carroll Smith, of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Lynwood Smith and a niece, Patsy Case.

25213 iii. Carroll Nelson Smith was born October 4,1934.
25214 iv. Laura Beth Smith was born November 14, 1938.
25215 v. Jimmie Hulon Smith was born in Lincoln Co., MS January 20, 1941. Jimmie died January 29, 1941 in Lincoln Co., MS. Jimmie was buried in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.
