Laura died April 25, 2004 in Jackson, Hinds Co, MS. OBIT: Graveside services for Beth Smith Catanzaro Wray of Jackson are 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 27, in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wray, 65, died April 25, 2004, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 14, 1938, to Hulon Smith and Iva Bell Smith Smith. She was a retired retirement home manager. Preceding her in death was her father, Hulon Smith. Survivors are her mother, Iva Bell Smith Smith of Brookhaven; her husband, Roy Wray of Jackson; her daughter and son-in-law, Lorrie and Bucky Bearden of Longwood, Fla.; her son and daughter-in-law, Chance and Christine Catanzaro of Baton Rouge, La.; her brothers, Carroll N. Smith of Brookhaven, and Kirby Smith of Jackson; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and Jackie Wray of Jackson.

She married twice. She married Frank A Catanzaro.

Laura Beth Smith and Frank A Catanzaro had the following children:

 41884 i. Anthony Chance¹² Catanzaro was born April 1960. Anthony died Februay 24, 2014 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA. He married Christine (___).

 41885 ii. Lorrie Catanzaro (living).
